Bay of Fires, or: More Penguins?

Ah, a nice quiet day. It was great to relax after all our activity. We left Devonport that morning and headed across the state to Bay of Fires. Bay of Fires is a long curve of white sand broken up by granite rocks stretching into the turquoise water. Although the beach was lined with bluebottles and the water was cold, a few friends and I ran into the waves anyway.

After Bay of Fires we went to our beach house in Bicheno, a very small town on the water. That evening we went to go see little penguins. Now, I know I have seen little penguins twice before. But when you are offered the opportunity to go see little penguins, would you ever say no, thank you, I’ve already seen enough little penguins? No, because you can never see enough little penguins. It's not physically possible.
